How to deal with back pain?
If you awoke this morning to back pain you are not the only one. I’m writing this because that was me this morning.

How to resolve back pain.
- I recommend getting on the foam roller for about 10 minutes to roll out the quads, hamstrings, and the dreaded IT band. I did and it made a difference.
- I did some lower body stretches of the hamstrings, quads, and outer thighs.
- ICE. I can’t stress this enough. You need to bring down the inflammation. I recommend you buy an ice pack and put a cloth between the ice pack and the skin for 20 minutes. Drink plenty of fluids to keep your body hydrated.
- Do a few core exercises like a front plank or knee plank. Hold for 10-20 seconds and repeat it twice. You can also go into a child’s pose to stretch out the upper arms and back.

Workout routine
Don’t let your sore back keep you from your workouts. You may have to modify them until it starts to feel better but don’t work out through the pain. It will just make things worse in the long run. My advice is to listen to your body and not exceed your limits.
Be Well,
