Nutrient packed smoothie

Are you feeling a little sluggish this monring?  Do you skip breakfast?  Here is a great solution for people on the go.  A refreshing smoothing is just what you need to jump start your immune system.  Here is what you need:

Ingredients:

2 cups carrots

  • 1 1/2 c of water or coconut water
  • 1 banannas
  •  1c  pineapple fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 tsp of fresh graded ginger root
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 carrot juice or 2 whole carrots.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 cup milk ( almond, soy or goats milk) what ever you have on hand.

Directions:

Blend up and enjoy a boost to your immune system.  Turmeric is full of anti-inflammatory properties and it helps to lower cholesterol.  What more could you want from a smoothie?
